JOB SUMMARY: The Care Inspector of Family Child has responsibilities in the following programs:
Family Child Care Registration - Conduct orientations and trainings for the Family Child Care Program which includes but not limited to the following; courtesy visits, initial inspections, monitoring inspection, renewal inspection, scan and upload provider documentation to NJCCIS, work with potentials throughout their 90 days period, process and review renewal documentation from FCC providers and provide technical assistance to child care providers in Middlesex and Somerset Counties as needed. All inspections are to be reported on Expedite and filed. Provide CPR training (CCCS will provide certification training, if needed.) Track CPR expiration spreadsheet of FCC & FFN providers. Assist in Super Saturday annual event. Coordinate and plan alongside the FCC Manager the annual ‘Provider Appreciation Day’ event. In addition to quarterly FCC meetings during evenings.
Child Care Food Program - Coordinate all aspects of the Child Care Food Program in Middlesex and Somerset counties. Conduct orientation, assist in the annual nutrition training, pre-approval visits, food reviews performed per quarter, annual CACFP staff training and provide technical assistant as needed.
Approved Home Conduct orientation, provide technical assistance to FFN in both Middlesex and Somerset counties, work with potential FFN throughout their 60 days process, conduct inspection visits, process annual renewal documentation, upload and scan documents to NJCCIS, process referrals received from out of county and complete the documentation or inspection process depending on FFN residency. Inspection is reported on Expedite and filed.
All visits, inspections, monitorings and any potential driving required for position in both Middlesex and Somerset counties will be conducted in personal vehicle.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
This job requires good organizational skills, an ability to work with a variety of community members in a non-judgmental manner, good computer skills and the ability to set goals and accomplish tasks. Knowledge or experience in any of the above programs is helpful. Majority of work is fieldwork throughout Middlesex and Somerset counties, requiring use of personal vehicle; travel reimbursement provided. Hybrid work one day per week. Occasional weekend work required.
Bilingual Spanish preferred but not required.
Minimum Education Requirement: High School Diploma
Salary Grade 9: $40,000 - $43,000 per year

Eligibility Program Specialist
Community Child Care Solutions –Perth Amboy- Full Time
Answer and route calls, return messages within 24–48 hours, perform high-volume data entry, maintain electronic client files, process childcare provider agreements.
Provide Resource & Referral services, update notes in Work Life Systems (WLS), and assist with special projects.
Minimum Education Requirement: High School Diploma or GED equivalent
Must be proficient in Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel and Foxit
Must have good problem-solving skills
Salary Grade 6: $18.68 per hour ($34,000 per year)

• Under the direction of the Executive Director, the Assistant Director is responsible for the administration and oversight of Family Child Care, Quality programing and Community Outreach in Middlesex County and Somerset Counties.
• The Assistant Director is responsible to provide effective leadership and serve as an administrator and expert in the assigned program areas.
• As part of the Executive Leadership Team (ELT), the Assistant Director will share responsibilities of overall management of the agency (both agency locations), will communicate with management on behalf of the Executive Director.
Minimum Education Requirement: BA/BS Degree or MA Degree is preferred
Salary Grade 15: $75,000 - $80,000 per year
Valid driver’s license with an acceptable driving history is required

• The CFO/Finance Director oversees the financial strategy and operations, including budgeting, reporting, forecasting and ensuring fiscal stability and compliance with our agency funders.
• The Finance Director supervises two fiscal specialists, and travels between agency offices for fiscal and leadership meetings.
