Manage client and provider inboxes, and respond to inquiries within 24–48 hours. Care Inspector of Family Child- Perth Amboy and Somerville JOB SUMMARY: The Care Inspector of Family Child has responsibilities in the following programs: Family Child Care Registration - Conduct orientations and trainings for the Family Child Care Program which includes but not limited to the following; courtesy visits, initial inspections, monitoring inspection, renewal inspection, scan and upload provider documentation to NJCCIS, work with potentials throughout their 90 days period, process and review renewal documentation from FCC providers and provide technical assistance to child care providers in Middlesex and Somerset Counties as needed. All inspections are to be reported on Expedite and filed. Provide CPR training (CCCS will provide certification training, if needed.) Track CPR expiration spreadsheet of FCC & FFN providers. Assist in Super Saturday annual event. Coordinate and plan alongside the FCC Manager the annual ‘Provider Appreciation Day’ event. In addition to quarterly FCC meetings during evenings. Child Care Food Program - Coordinate all aspects of the Child Care Food Program in Middlesex and Somerset counties. Conduct orientation, assist in the annual nutrition training, pre-approval visits, food reviews performed per quarter, annual CACFP staff training and provide technical assistant as needed. Approved Home Conduct orientation, provide technical assistance to FFN in both Middlesex and Somerset counties, work with potential FFN throughout their 60 days process, conduct inspection visits, process annual renewal documentation, upload and scan documents to NJCCIS, process referrals received from out of county and complete the documentation or inspection process depending on FFN residency. Inspection is reported on Expedite and filed. All visits, inspections, monitorings and any potential driving required for position in both Middlesex and Somerset counties will be conducted in personal vehicle. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: This job requires good organizational skills, an ability to work with a variety of community members in a non-judgmental manner, good computer skills and the ability to set goals and accomplish tasks. Knowledge or experience in any of the above programs is helpful. Majority of work is fieldwork throughout Middlesex and Somerset counties, requiring use of personal vehicle; travel reimbursement provided. Hybrid work one day per week. Occasional weekend work required. Bilingual Spanish preferred but not required. Family Engagement Specialist- Perth Amboy, NJ Family Engagement Specialist- Perth Amboy, NJ ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: Family Engagement Specialist will be responsible for providing children with ASQ developmental screening, answering eligibility questions, visiting childcare centers, hosting four annual Books, Balls and Blocks events off site. Hybrid work two days per week. Saturday and week night hours required for some events. Fieldwork requires use of personal vehicle. This job requires good organizational skills, an ability to work with a variety of community members in a non-judgmental manner, good computer skills and the ability to set goals and accomplish tasks. FES has knowledge of and shares information regarding: o Child care services and accessing services, including policies o Information that promotes, educates and informs the public and child care community about high-quality and encourages providers to strive for high-quality child care. o The full diversity of child care providers o How to obtain an application and other important forms o How and where to file a complaint o How to connect to and access other programs and community resources, such as o SNAP, WIC, Early Invention, Early Head and Head Start, Home Visitation, etc. Bilingual Spanish preferred but not required. Community Child Care Solutions assists families and child care providers in Middlesex and Somerset County improving the quality of their child care experience through various programs. Programs include financial assistance, trainings and recognizing quality child care. 将家庭与优质儿童保育资源联系起来 Important Announcement About CCAP Due to limited funding, as of Friday, August 1, 2025, the Child Care Assistance Program (CCAP) is no longer accepting new applications. Applications received or postmarked after July 31, 2025, will not be reviewed. Children currently served by the Child Care Assistance Program will continue to receive assistance as long as they remain eligible. Unfortunately, new children cannot be added to existing CCAP cases after July 31, 2025. If you need assistance paying for child care, you can check whether you are eligible for the Head Start child care program or if your school district has free child care for three- and four-year-olds. Additional funding is not anticipated for the foreseeable future. The New Jersey Infant Toddler Network was created to assist early educators in offering the quality care to the infants and toddlers in their programs.
